Pinky, after obtaining her mother's permission, is getting a new puppy. Enjoy this wonderful rhyming story as Pinky learnes how to care for her new pet and train her new little friend, Zinky the Yorkie. Pinky quickly learns that being responsible for her puppy's welfare takes a lot of work, but also comes with many rewards as Zinky melds into the family. As with all Pinky Frink Adventures, subtle hints about responsibility, respecting parental authority and family values are interspersed in the story line.

What a great way to gently depict the enormous amount of careit takes when a puppy joins the family!. I love the way all of the Pinky Frink Adventures rhyme, and the kids just love the colorful illustrations. My niece & nephews have every single one of the Pinky Frink books and list them as their favorites (which is saying something since they have hundreds of books in their home library!). I would highly recommend this book for youngsters, any child from toddler to early elementary grades will enjoy it.
