This book would be great for kids in middle school. It presents challenging math problems disguised as a children's story. I plan to give it to my daughters who are in 6th and 8th grade and see if they or their classmates can solve the terrible triplets' problem. I would like to see a sequel with Leila tackling algebra.
Author's self-review: "As a science-for-the-masses kind of guy, I’m proud of this book. It presents the math in a fun, accessible manner without being preachy. And yet, even now that the book is done, I still can’t really define its target audience. The story is too simplistic for anyone over the age of 10, and the math is too hard for anyone younger than that."
