Sleepy Town is what could be construed as a living Rockwell painting had he fallen on his head a few too many times...a slightly twisted and maniacal series of semi-connected short stories of what small town life could be, should be and probably is...just not where you live...at least as far as you know...featuring the stories "Meteor Days," "The Legacy of Edward Salad," "The Fumigated Trains," "Freaking Armadillos," and "Camp Phil and the Purple Monks."

"Sleepy Town " Thank God the book was in English or I wouldn't have understood it. And I have to admit, since I was one of his English teachers in high school, it was well written as well. He certainly couldn't have written this back then because he rarely came to class.
"Sleepy Town" This is easily the best book I have ever read that was written by somebody that is related to me - except for maybe the insurance reports my father wrote and used to read to us to help us sleep.
