There is never enough time. Too much to do, not enough time to do it. And everyone is under pressure to perform, to achieve, to be something. So when Big Ben Bridges launches the revolutionary MegaVisor (which has already revolutionised gaming) as an educational tool, the world goes crazy for it. Too crazy. All too soon things begin to change, and before long, the very existence of the world as we know it is under threat. "The Time Killers by Greg Patmore " [book: The Time Killers] by [author: Greg Patmore] is a great find. I found that I could really associate myself with the characters at the beginning as its set in a school like my secondary school – so it was down to earth in that way. It’s got a good moral behind it – ie, let’s not get too engrossed in computer games/TV etc – which was very thought provoking without being boring. The title, [book: The Time Killers], is exactly what it is about. It’s all about a boy who can get things done in very little time – but time is running out as people are wasting it. People are using less imagination because of technology which is affecting the space/time continuum. There is a parallel, fantastical, world which captures this time so that our world and the universe can exist, which has got brilliant ‘things’ living in it. But this gets infiltrated by the bad guy who is set on turning the universe into flat 2 dimensional data so all imagination... More > and dreams are extinguished. It is gripping from the start with great imagery and chase scenes, and boy meets girl!, but there are good laughs throughout and had me welling up at the end. Hope there is a sequel!< Less
