In St. Louis, we had and have a great radio station KSHE, where I first heard Tommy Bolin in 1975. In the dorms in college, everyone would share their great "finds" in music, Bolin was mine. The Teaser and Private Eye's albums, I had to be purchased several times, either a scratch, or someone would do a non return from the lending library the "Peaches Crate of LP's" . It was funny, friends now 30 years later from college get together and ask me if I have Tommy on my I-phone (which I have about everything I can get my hands on over the years). A few of us also had a ritual of playing our favorite finds to get us pumped up for a a tough final, before marching out of the dorms, mine was Post Toastie, a near 10 minute blast and out for test time. I was always telling people about this great artist, and then as quick as I discovered Tommy, he passed away.
