Int3grat3 is a fast paced read that will keep you turning pages, eager to find out what happens next. Andreas is a robot who has not yet had his programming completed. Once complete he will be so similar to humans no one will notice. Rumored to have been constructed out of his creators desire to have his long since deceased son back in his life, Matthias worked long and hard to bring his creation to life. The time is close at hand when Andreas will be completed but at the critical moment something terrible has happened: Matthias is killed by a drunk driver. Now Andreas has the task of completing the remainder of his programming: study human emotions and integrate the findings. Only then will he be truly complete. The problem is how does an autonomous robot, a fully capable artificial intelligence, attain a goal he has no instructions on how to attain? His directive that remains is to study hate and anger. He determines the only method to study these emotions is to feel them first... More > hand, and the only way to do so starts with revenge on his ‘father’s’ killer. Andreas sets out on the open road, armed only with his programmed knowledge, his strength, and his capability to assume the form of any human. How do you stop the perfect machine dead set on killing? The answer may not surprise you, but the journey to reach the answer is the surprise as Greg Rivet explores what it means to be human, on both an individual level and from a global perspective, and can a machine integrate itself seamlessly into an unsuspecting human society? ~ H.
