My Father's Crimes contains a series of stories about the crime scenes that my father, Constable Wally Tuchin, photographed during his time working at the Sydney, Scientific Investigation Bureau from 1952 to 1963.
His recollections are a fascinating insight into the way crimes were investigated before DNA and many of the other scientific methods the police have today. It tells true stories about crimes, criminals, murderers, rapists, kidnappers and the detectives who investigated those crimes
