Beyond green business, social entrepreneurship, and triple-bottom-line profits lies a new kind of venture: the Regenerative Enterprise. In the context of global ecological and cultural degradation, creating financial capital profits alone is no longer acceptable. Regenerative Enterprise articulates the a new economic model and redefines the concepts of sustainability and regeneration. It then develops the theoretical and practical requirements for regenerative enterprises, entrepreneurs, and enterprise ecologies. The book concludes with three global imperatives and a clear set of principles that invite well-designed and effective action.

May 24, 2013Regenerative Enterprise is exactly the book the world needs at this moment. It is a simple, clear articulation of how businesses can be a primary vehicle to nurture social and environmental health. It is critical for anyone involved in "social entrepreneurship" to understand that there is a fundamental difference between doing less harm and actual nurturing life. This book will serve as a powerful tool for any entrepreneur or intra-preneur looking to re-imagine and demonstrate what's possible in the world of responsible business.
May 2, 2013"Regenerative Enterprise" is phenomenal for two reasons: it's emphasis on (1) enterprise ecosystems and (2) personal maturation. Read my full review here: http://willszal.tumblr.com/post/49455962014/regenerative-enterprise
Apr 22, 2013Regenerative Enterprise proposes we upgrade traditional laissez faire capitalism to get to the next plateau, which is more compassionate, steady-state and earth-restorative. There is a lot of fine detail needed to separate the work of ecological repair from Ponzi-the-Clown traditional business models common to shark-tank TV shows, weekend webinars and MBA-mills. The line between the monopolistic robber baron model pioneered by Rockefeller, Vanderbilt and Westinghouse and the alternative promoted by “green business” triple-bottom-line eco-entrepreneurs has been muddied by the human profit motive and capitalism’s ROI imperative. Roland and Landua have significantly advanced the discussion by creating a bright line formula for marking the distinction: "Stop buying, selling, and trading in degenerative goods and services." Today I'll post a fuller review to http://peaksurfer.blogspot.com.
Apr 21, 2013The systems approach taken by Roland and Landua in their highly commendable new book "Regenerative Enterprise" is an important contribution to those engaged in business, regeneration, investment, and personal growth. Their vision of the transformation of financial capital using their 8 Forms of Capital model is both innovative and inspirational. Kudos to both of you. We are proud of your connections to Gaia University and look forward to further excellent work.
