This book is truly a good read for people who think about the world as it is. I have known GT for many years and I recommend his book wholeheartedly.

I don’t do Face Book and I don’t normally read fiction, but I’ve known GT since Lake-State. (Ask him how he ended-up in the Sault some time.) Anyway, the death of Muhammad Ali made me think of GT, (Old story...) but when I learned he wrote a book , I had to give him a call. The cover picture impressed me so much, I figured I’d be happy even if I didn't enjoy the book, so I picked-up a copy. GT suggested that I buy it from Curly, GT’s Editor. That made the experience even better. I not only enjoyed the “book” but I very much enjoyed the content! I don't necessarily believe Hemingway and GT are in the same league, but I must say: This book shines very nicely on the legacy of GT Long. I was surprised to learn that I very much enjoyed reading it, and the wisdom it shares. I tend to believe GT when he writes "this book would never have happened" without his Editor. They both must be proud.

"Character, Bon Vivant, Renaissance Man" - Adjectives that describe author GT Long. I have known GT for 30 years primarily through his daily life as a political operative. I always found him interesting, wise, and an indefatigable and determined campaigner, but I never saw the spiritual side of this man until recent years. In Another Sunday in Horton Bay, GT has collected and published his short essays on life, spirituality and God that have entertained and opened eyes of his Facebook friends for the past several months. These weekly Sunday visits with Jesus challenge one's conventional beliefs with thought-provoking insights. Horton Bay is a small settlement on Lake Charlevoix in northern Michigan best known as the summer home of Ernest Hemingway during his most prolific years. Has Horton Bay produced a modern-day Hemingway in GT Long? Perhaps it's something in the waters of Lake Charlevoix - we'll have to ask Jesus.
