This is the autobiography of Shaykh Hamid Hussein Waqar. It tells his story being born into a non-Muslim family, growing up in a non-Islamic environment, joining a gang, going to prison, finding Islam, entering the Islamic seminary, and giving back to the community.

SubhanAllah, this was a very beneficial read; its motivating captivating and inspirational. It is definatley written for those who don't have much time on their hands to read a novel. Though, one suggestion I might add is that the respectes sheikh write a novel like version some day in the future, so that way readers can connect with his expirience in a closer fashion. This way people will be more moved by it and who knows sheikhna could win a best seller award and his story could be made into a movie. Allah bless the sheikh inshallah.
I found this book easy to read, and with excellent content. Definitely an inspiration, and highly recommended. Much respect to the author for sharing the insights and experiences that he has had. 100% five stars.
