Saving Hazel: Presentation Copy
ByHanus of Prague and OlomoucHazel Muller
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Instead of dying gently and gloriously at home, Hazel was unfortunately sent into institutional care (where she lasted 78 days of horror.) Through collaborative drawings with Hazel, her son (the artist Hanus of Prague and Olomouc) tried to create a cultural phenomenon to raise enough money to get her cared for at home. That fundraising effort came too little and too late. But this wonderful artifact of the effort and the beauty remains to inspire and comfort of us. "Saving Hazel" is part of the Camino de Hazel pilgrimage, along with the book "78 Days," which every one should take at least once in a lifetime.
