In his own words, PFC Harry Carlton Grafton, U.S.Army, tells his true story of his service in the greatest war the world has ever experienced. From a young boy just out of high school in Bernice, Louisiana, Harry attends radio training school and is shipped out on one of the largest troop carriers ever built. After time at sea, Harry finds himself in the middle of the jungle, behind enemy lines, providing important radio service to the Allied troops fighting the Japanese in the “secret war” campaign of CBI (China-Burma-India). Never a hero in his own mind, Harry’s services prove to be invaluable in slowing down the Japanese advances within the C.B.I. theatre. This is Harry's Story.
