This is a lifelong experiences - humorous, yet poignant and compelling story. Harry Lew tells us of his "not-so-wonderful" childhood, his emigration from China and arrival in the U.S. at the age of 15 as a "Paper Son" and his subsequent struggle to get an education. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, after which he
was naturalized for citizenship under the provisions of the U.S. Amnesty Act and went on to carve out a successful and fulfilling life for himself. Never discouraged and innately optimistic, the author later came to be known as "Happy Lew" by those who knew him.
He has traveled the world with his family, is a veritable challenge on the tennis court at the age of 88 and is immersed in a bundle of other activities.
