A Familiar Street

A familiar street is a collection of poems from the last two years. It is a personal story of place, of holding space and a conversation with those I hold dear. It is constructed as a journey from home into the world and back again. The poems are written primarily in English . However it makes nods towards the beautiful languages Te Reo Maori, the native language of Aotearoa New Zealand and to German the language of my grandmother to whom it is dedicated.
