This is an unusual book premised on A Course in Miracles. The author spends time on making a clear distinction between the real God as opposed to a false one and the evolving construct of thought and the projection of matter. While the first few Chapters are highly theoretical and abstract, the more meaningful insights are gained later when the author discourses on healing and describes his understanding of what really heals. If modern medicine or natural remedies work, or if the mind accepts them as intermediary tools to heal is argued. The power of prayer is well argued in a sense that clarity is thrown on old prejudices, if we must either solicit God or not in prayer. What was useful was the concept that no words are really meaningful in prayer but receptivity and willingness to see things differently is required. These insights are also the reflections found in A Course in Miracles. The 60 iterations which are in the author's own words make the thought system of the Course come to... More > life while the conclusion leaves the reader ready for deep reflection. Very good; because spirituality is refreshingly argued; bad; because it is sometimes abstract and is demanding on the reader. Nonetheless, it is a worthy effort!< Less
