I could not put this book down! A true story of a 3500+ mile bike trek from Mexico to Michigan!...Every page drew me into a rich, mysterious and exciting adventure full of intrigue, interesting twists and turns, fear, loneliness, exhaustion, perseverance, laughter, warmth, love and friendship that awoke in me a desire to recreate such an adventure in my own life!...Anyone up for a bike trip to Mexico?!

"North by Bike" This is interesting. I don't think I would ever do anything like this but its interesting to read about someone who has done it. Why no pictures? I think that's a problem. It would be much nicer to have pictures to go along with. I really liked the ghost story. That seemed very real to me. And I'm glad this guy met that girl at the end. After all that hard work, everyone needs a little love!

"Bicycle book" I don't do much road riding so I didn't expect much from this book. But its actually pretty cool. Its a good story and I had a hard time putting it down. I wanted to know what was going to happen next. I think you should buy this.

"North By Bike" Overall, this was an enjoyable read! More than once, I got the feeling that I was part of the story......right there riding a bicylce through the American countryside of 1976. If this were my story, I'd have some different philosophical and spiritual viewpoints to communicate. This story, though, provides a glimpse into the searching heart of a young man in the '70s. And through his story, perhaps we can come to a better understanding of '70s culture and how it affected the three decades that followed it.

"North By Bike" This is pretty cool! Who would want to ride a bicycle that far though? Sounds like fun but sounds like a lot of work! It's fun to read even if you don't want to make a ride like this. It happened some time ago and that makes me wonder if everything is still like that.
