Wow...... 25 years of helping people through his private practice has guided this self mentoring tool.... This should be required reading for all practicing mental health workers.... find that joyful response to life by overcoming years of bad parenting, bad relationships and bad spiritual guidance....... Hurray..... May the world become a more joyful, loving, calm place.
This was amazing and sometimes, quite fun. I learned a lot and the keep going back over my notes all the time. I really feel like I got a fix on my stress, and now whenever I get angry or upset... I find my "internal Mentor".... and then feel much better. I have been to one of Howard's workshops and the sessions with him in the room are great.
Hopefully, I can get to one of these workshops. The book takes you through this process step by step and I felt like the author was holding my hand. So many things came into view for me. I feel like I know myself in a totally different (and better) way. After searching for quite a while, I actually feel like I have a handle on my anxiety.
