Of course I'm prejudiced in favor of the book, as I served as book designer and publisher. Nevertheless, I can honestly say this book holds unique and fascinating insights into the strange terrain known as multiple personality disorder. I've always been captivated by accounts of multiple personalities inhabiting a single body. Early examples I can recall from my youth were "The 3 Faces of Eve" and "Sybil." Knowing both the author, Bill Puett, and the subject of this book, herein called "Black," I can assure the reader this account is an accurate snapshot of Black's condition. This book represents a philosophical correspondence into the nature of personhood between Dr. Puett, a doctor of philosophy and retired Emeritus Professor of Philosophy, and Black, a student who became a lifelong friend.
