With Gibson abandoning Cakewalk ending the development of Sonar I decided to switch to Cubase and needed something to help me on the journey. Coming from a rival product you quickly learn that neither product is really better they are just different with the main question being not can I do this but how do I do this. What I needed was someone or something to help me make the move and figure out how to use the skills that I already have with a different toolset. After some research I was pointed to this book and after debating whether to get this version or wait for the next one that will specifically cover the Cubase 9.5 that I have bought I decided to get this version and I'm glad that I did. The book is really well laid out and covers the core aspects of recording with an overview of tasks and why they matter then works through accomplishing the task using Cubase. For me this makes it a great combination of a refresher on why things are done with the detail that I need on how to do... More > it in Cubase 9. Based on my experience so far I would say that if you own Cubase then you should also own a copy of this book.< Less
