A history of the beginning and further development of Seminaries and Institutes of Religion of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the state of Alaska from 1961 to 2015. The story is told through the eyes of the dedicated coordinators, volunteer teachers, leaders, and the adventurous youth who helped pioneered the effort. The history is enhanced by the use of numerous first-person accounts. The book contains 594 pages, 500 photos, maps, and documents, and the names and dates of service of over 1500 volunteer seminary and institute teachers who have served since the first class was held in 1962 through the 2014-2015 school year. The story is divided into six sections highlighting events within the various geographic zones of Alaska and within the Anchorage, Anchorage North, Chugiak, Fairbanks, Juneau, Soldotna, and Wasilla stakes of Zion.
