    This book is worth buying. The first half of it teaches, clearly enough for anybody to learn it, a method of meditation grounded on relaxation instead of concentration. It also explains how to apply the principles of relaxation to everyday life, which is something that everybody can benefit from. The reader is given a made-up word to use when meditating. It is not explained how to pronounce the fourth letter of that word, a vowel that can be pronounced in various ways, and this makes the made-up word more difficult to use than is necessary. The second half of this book is miscellaneous papers from the Et Custosi Tutelae and from Whare Ra (the last surviving Temple of the Stella Matutina). About half of them have to do with meditation. The rest are about the magical system of the Et Custosi Tutelae. Part of this paperback book was extracted from a larger, more expensive hardcover book by the same author, which makes it an economical way to obtain this method of meditation. A passage in... More > this paperback refers to a chart that is in the hardcover book, but not included in the paperback. The absence of the chart doesn't affect the reader's comprehension of the material, but the passage could be rewritten to not mention the chart. This paperback also includes material that isn't in the hardcover. The author states in his "Forward", "this book (is) an edition in its own right, becoming a supplementary book."< Less
