Dare to Look, a short story by Peter R. Harris, is humor and horror all at once, and that in a contemporary setting. On a fateful day, one strange event follows another with no end in sight.
Sarah has "made it" with the movie director, and now she feels she has it made. One day, however, the horror movie set seems to expand well beyond the stage. She isn't universally loved by her colleagues, and must wonder whether the strange and terrifying things she experiences after work could be a coincidence, the result of foul play, or a product of her imagination.
Dare To Look is a compact horror story. It has a good deal of humor and irony, but also a sharp edge worthy of the genre.
