This is an interesting read about the Polish community in early twentieth century Schenectady, New York. My father-in-law was one of their many actors in the plays and his name appears on two of the play bills in the book. It is amazing to learn that Stanley Zych traveled to Poland in the summer of 1936 as documented in the Maska newsletter. I wonder what pre-World War II was like when he was there. If you have Polish ancestry from Schenectady, look for your family name in this book.
