Extra Studies

When Sam agreed to help his ex-neighbour’s daughter catch up on some of her school studies after her illness, he never expected the studies to progress from school subjects to ‘adult’ subjects. As more ‘students’ roll up for his ‘extra studies’ sessions each learns more about life than they expected. This results in some very happy students who look forward to the extra study sessions, with Sam himself finally getting more out of the adventure than he ever could have hoped. Set against a semi-rural backdrop in northern New South Wales, Australia, the ‘students’ attend weekend workshops which include sleepovers, nude swims, and learning that getting to know the opposite sex is great fun when everyone is learning together. They also discover the value to their academic progress of eliminating frustration and of just getting on with real life in all its forms. 340 pages approx
