The Rosary

This book is designed to instruct people who are interested in the rosary but are new to it, as well as those who are familiar with it and who may appreciate the insights of an individual who has prayed the rosary for over forty years. An easy-to-use introduction to the history, structure, and use of the traditional rosary is followed by a section with a classical illustration for each of the twenty mysteries (most of them by the renowned late nineteenth century watercolorist J. J. Tissot), suitable Scripture passages, and topical suggestions for focused meditations. There is a short section on other rosaries, namely the Servite and Seraphic rosaries as well as the Eastern Orthodox prayer rope. There are also a few additional Marian devotions.
