Victoria Peurifoy, in poetry circles she is dubbed "the Axiom" and it is truly accurate since her autobiography tells her truth as only she can. You read her story, experience her frustrations, laugh at her comedic antics, identify with her transitions from girl to woman to wife to mother and you cry when she cries. All the while, you cannot put the book down until you find out how each "adventure" ended. For me, the expression "been there, done that" came to mind many times as I followed this woman growing up. The play on the title is interesting too. Like each blade of grass has its own characteristics, each phase of Victoria's life needed its own dose of God's grace to get her through it; so the blades of grace become real and multiply. As you read on, you can't help but wonder how it ends. Victoria does not disappoint, you either want to jump up and holler or collapse into a blubbering mess of happy tears.
