This magazine is balls-to-the-walls, hit-you-in-the-face-with-a-shovel kinda magazine. Do not expect the usual horror with these stories and poems. The last time I enjoyed reading a new magazine like this was with the small press magazine called "The Horror Show" back in the 1980's. That magazine became a stepping stone for some strong and talented up and coming writers. I believe this magazine will do the same. Vincent Damon's "Long Night of the Komodo" is the kind of story that will give Edward Lee nightmares. The poetry by Angela Ash will stick with you for days. Andrea's Rants by Andrea von Scoyac brings to mind the MAFIA column that I read about a lot in "Cemetary Dance" magazine. Her rants are brutal and honest and she is a force to be reckoned with. Dave Lipscomb's "The DaveL's Music", is a refreshing take on rare music reviews. Hydra M. Star has gathered together an eclectric amount on new talent that I will watch for in the future.
