BLU Collection

What is BLU? The name of this collection is BLU, which is the abbreviation for Better Left Untold, a poem written by I. G. Casinas. The theme of this collection is about secrecy and longing for a lost love that to some, are forbidden to even think about. Feeling suffocated, Casinas believes that certain things should remain in one's thoughts. It's quite risky doing so since bottling things up for so long does not always turn out the way they are hoped. But the sensation of feeling trapped is one of the main driving forces for Casinas to write. BLU tells the story of the writer's short-lived love experience in mainly short free verses. Though fairly simply written, there are a lot of deep meanings and emotions beneath the words which could be perceived in many different ways, but still allowing one to feel the writer's loneliness and longing for the one that got away.
