First published in Bewildering StoriesAfter years delivering nothing but seemingly pointless research, and the odd probe to one of our sister planets, NASA has been dissolved. The government’s monies and attentions have turned to promoting its new reality show, All The President’s Daughters, and figuring out how to safely invade Canada. But, high in the wooded mountains of Washington state, two men are working feverishly to build their own rockets, to reclaim for humanity the lost estate of outer space.

"An intriguing quirky story " Made It Way Up An intriguing quirky story and well written. I wanted to keep reading which is always a good sign. I love the banter between the child and her father. Well done Ian and keep writing. Regards Anne Rogers
