The DeVaynes, one of Paris' most powerful families in the 1850's, is hunted by a werewolf bent upon their destruction. Charles DeVayne, heir to the family fortunes, must stop the creature and overcome the same disease that lurks within his own soul before it claims the lives of all he loves, including that of his beautiful fiancee Dominique Dusette.
