Two novellas - 132 pages - Myths of Biblical Proportion is a fictional account which reveals the true originals of two famous bible stories. Told from the perspective of the Fezuli and Frye families, we discover that these innocent bystanders are the unlikely thread that tie together, the invention of witness protection program, the original three commandments (and you thought there were ten?), the birth of Fig Newtons, and the logic behind Gopher wood as the product of choice for ancient ship building. When our heroes need to disappear, the truth behind the Great Flood is revealed. After Moses smashes the tablets, the real commandments are lost as an alternate edition is hurriedly pressed into service. Irreverant humour designed to raise a smile not ire !

"Fun ride....." Again the small man makes all the difference and gets none of the credit. I liked this entertaining alternative to the Sunday School versions immensely. The author's 'causes and effects' are occasionally some what of a stretch, but if you are willing to suspend your 'beliefs' and imagine, you'll find these two tales are both believeable and funny alternatives.
