“Memoirs of a Bicycle”, as the name implies is an unusual biography, written by an unusual subject: Iggy Giant, the bike who, under his various masters, not only manages to survive countless adventures in three continents, but also, in his inimitable style, records these events faithfully.
He gives us glimpses of the life of a bicycle in modern society, which he finds at times, puzzling, to say the least. Iggy observes us, humans with the eye of a young, impressionable, often naïve, bicycle, and makes no secret of his confusion when facing the many absurdities he sees with the human race.
He gives us his take on sex, politics and carbon print. He hates cars with fervor and has a strange admiration for sheep. He also loves humans with a passion, and in his strange, naïve way, he wants to save us. “Bicycles will set you free”, he says and dreams of a world without OPEC, EPA, ECG’s, gridlocks and…fat people.

"memoirs of a bicycle" from the few pages i read, this is a funny, witty and original work. As a keen rider, i find that life, seen through the bike's eyes offers many funny insights.
