Franz Kettner was my husband's great-grandfather. We can attest that all the information in this book is accurate. Even if you are not a descendant, you'll enjoy reading about life on the Texas frontier between 1850 and 1875. Ilse Wurster and Charles Kettner and many others worked long and hard to create this wonderful book. Thank you.
