This is the exciting continuation of Joseph and Jennie’s passionate love story—a story that takes up where “A Light in Darkness” left off. Jennie's baby had been born, but she watched a stranger hold him, heard his cry that wrung her heart as they carried him away to be the next sacrifice. This second book about Joseph and Jennie's passionate love brings them places they never dreamed they would go. Joseph loses his faith as he loses the woman he loves, the child they bore, and his career as a cop. But the forces of hell cannot prevail.

"Embracing the Light Review by David Cristwell" It is a privilege to review this story. I haven't read a page turner like this in years! The story kept me riveted to my seat wondering just how Joseph and Jennie were to find Joshua. Of course I never doubted the IF, but that is a matter of faith. The surprise, is the "who, how, and where?" The characters and plot are well-developed, and the story line flows easily, even with flashbacks. We are all tested at some time, and "Embracing the Light" shows how even the strongest of us can be tested, but we know that He will never forsake us. I give "Embracing the Light" FIVE crosses (better than stars) and look forward to reading the rest of Inez' work. If you want an interesting read, then Inez Brinkley's "Embracing the Light" will keep you riveted. (Warning! If you want a bedtime story to put you to sleep, try something else. This is just too good to put down. Although on a weekend, you... More > will sleep well afterwards.) David Cristwell, Author of "Auroraview, Alaska"< Less
