Never A Dull Moment, the first sailing/adventure book by Duncan Gould lives up to its title. Duncan, an accomplished writer who has honed his skill contributing to many sailing publications, takes the reader on an up-close and personal voyage of discovery. Gould is a graduate of the ‘School of Hard Knocks’ and Never A Dull Moment is a testament both humorous and informative for the rest of us fellow students. My only problem with this book, besides the often out-loud bursts of laughter, is that it ended. A loop around the Atlantic Ocean was barely enough time to spend on the sailing vessel Moose with this Canadian writer/sailor and his patient and fun loving Dutch wife, Irene. Fortunately the Moose and the Goulds succumbed to a greater case of wanderlust and the release of this first book finds them well into a multi-year circumnavigation. I for one will be first in line for the next edition. Foster Fanning s/v Aquila
