The Indivisible State

ByJ. G. Vergara

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The Indivisible State, is the story of a man searching for his wife during an epidemic that has ravished the United States. The epidemic has turned the sick into zombies, and has thrust the living into a nomadic existence; walking by day and hiding by night. While the country falls into darkness, the government tries to maintain order - maintain power. The struggle culminates in the dissolution of a once powerful union and the emergence of the Kays and the Neos. It initiates the birth of a Totalitarian society, lost beneath the ground. In the middle of it all, in the middle of the destruction and the despair, the Traveler encounters people willing to help, willing to carry on the hope he believes is salvageable. He trudges forward, hoping that he and the survivors he left behind can make a difference for the future. “All these hopes amounted to nothing without action”.
