When my wife saw this book on our coffee table, her first reaction was "oooh - gross! why would anybody want to raise meal worms?" It turns out that in addition to being excellent fishing bait, meal worms are great food for exotic pets of the reptile, bird and rodent variety. Also, backyard bird feeders will be amazed at the variety of birds that can be attracted with a tasty meal worm treat. I know one avid birder who actually entices wild finches to eat them out of her hand. Mr. Currie tells you everything you need to know to set up your meal worm ranch and grow your "herd." An informative, fun read from an expert who has been raising these critters for almost four decades...
