Thanks Jac for creating such a beautiful book, which has provided me with a vital tool to address Menstruation as a normal topic with my daughter. I am reading it to my daughter as part of the other books she's got. I know this will help us to talk about menstration more comfortable and embrace her menarche with happiness and as normal path in her life. And the illustrations give very good ideas for us to celebrate her menarche in the future. Congratulations to Jac and Erin-Claire. Oscar

A world first in children's literature on menstruation, Cycling to Grandma's House is a precious groundbreaking resource for young readers and their parents, carers and educators. Upbeat and informative, whilst at the same time sensitively and beautifully written, Jac Torres-Gomez's tale of young Luna exploring the celebration of Menarche, lures us into the mysteries of young womanhood with a perfect balance of fun and sacredness. Erin-Claire Barrow's stunning illustrations bring forward the cross cultural wisdoms explored with such beauty and magic, making this book one that can be enjoyed by readers internationally. As a mother of 4 and menstrual educator, I highly recommend Cycling to Grandma's House to all parents, carers and educators of primary school aged children.
