"Attention to detail, very well presented." Otway Burns? Who was he? Does the name ring a very fuzzy bell? Well, it will soon ring out loud and clear over the valleys if you read this book, meticulously researched and put together with the craft of a professional who not only knows who and what he's talking about, but presents the tale on a silver platter. The opening title page lets you know immediately how much work has gone into the publishing of this book, and the extensive and highly interesting preface sets the scene for what follows - the life of Otway Burns, American privateer ( yes, they did exist outside of Western Europe ), business man and political figure. The clever use of selected non-continuous chapters for this informative preview will entice you to know more, and buy the book. The insetting of cameo style illustrations are a delight, and adds much to this book's appeal, not that it needs it, but it certainly tops it all off nicely. Well done, you will be... More > buying this book quicker than you can say Jack Robinson, which will delight Jack Robinson greatly.< Less
