Place in Proximity

Place in Proximity launches a new collaboration between Michigan State University and the City of East Lansing, MI with (SCENE) Metrospace in East Lansing, MI. Place in Proximity features work from artists living and making art in the states of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. This exhibition juxtaposes themes, qualities, and mannerisms of contemporary art from within our surrounding geographical region. Highlighting what is happening right now in our region and allowing us to examine how it relates to the broader contemporary art world.
