James Copple's "Fatal Attraction: America's Youth and Their Affair With Alcohol" is a must read for anyone who works to address under-age drinking policies and programming. This book provides tremendous insight as to how our culture supports and even promotes under-age drinking. The thought-provoking text helps the reader also understand the role of the alcohol industry and how any future work must include addressing this powerful force. As a parent, this was also an eye-opening read and one that cautions me that today's world of alcohol consumption is a complex system that targets the very youth we work to protect.
