James Kain expands upon his first book, "Memoirs of Cpl. James E. Kain", by retelling and enhancing stories from his youth, his war experience and from his civilian life after World War II. Life in rural Pennsylvania during and after the Great Depression is described. The book's intention is to provide background stories for his offspring.
