What an amazing book! I have never been so into a book that I can't stop reading it! I truly believe this book has giving me a different view on things! People need to take time to appreciate the things they have rather they complain about everything. I recommend this book to everyone it's great! I actually met Jim right before the book was released (I cut his hair) and he told me all about his beautiful family and he told me he wrote a book and what it was about. As soon as the book was out I bought a copy and read it in 2 days! I just couldn't put it down! I'm hoping another book is in our near future from James Pitrak. Again I encourage everyone to read it you won't be disappointed!

This was a great read! Don't be misled by the size of the book...the great life information Pitrak presents is compelling. There are very few books that make me stop and take notes, but Turn Into the Skid compelled me to grab my highlighter and then later summarize the information on a separate sheet for future reference. Turn Into the Skid goes so much further than most books dealing with difficult life situations and is one of the few books that has made it onto my re-read list. I heartily recommend Turn Into the Skid and look forward to any future works by James Pitrak.

Thank You Jim for writing so honestly and reminding us all what really is important in life. I really enjoyed the book, I laughed and cried. Life can be short and remembering that and reading your book can really make you appreciate what we all do have in life. I am spreading the word about your book to anyone I can! Great Job!

The title of this book caught my attention. I remember my father teaching me to drive on the ice and how I resisted turning into the skid and then I realized that it worked. We all have skids in our lives and in this book, Jim has shared some his and how he came through some difficult times. We cannot hear this message often enough Life is meant to be lived joyfully and learning how to turn into the skids is practiced skill. I am giving each of my adult children a copy of this book for Christmas.
