"10.034.0 Miles, It's Not the Destination, It's the Journey" I found this book, written by two young college graduates, interesting, exciting, absorbing and extremely humorous. The fact that they kept daily logs with all the details of their day’s activities made me feel like I actually was on this exciting trip with them. And their talent for photography, as exhibited by their beautiful pictures, really made the trip come alive. Since I’ve not done much traveling throughout the United States, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing and “feeling” the different parts of the country and was fascinated seeing and reading about all the different life styles, foods, and landscaping of this great country. Their anecdotes made the book all the more interesting. This book is definitely recommended reading for any college students who may be contemplating such a trip as a graduation treat before entering the real world and who may feel it is out of the realm of possibility due to budget or... More > time constraints. These two young men show how it can be done in 30 days, even on an extremely tight budget. Great reading and beautiful photography!< Less
