" An Occult Crimes Investigation Unit: #1 Sorcery Squad -- A Battle of Good versus Evil" Read this one with lots of lights on. It has scenes as scary as those in "The Exorcist" or a Steven King novel. Jamie's gift for descriptive writing brings you into the story and keeps you there. I "saw" every setting from the dark and horrific to the glittering and magical. The characters are very well done. Each has an occult talent that blends perfectly with or exists because of the being it occupies. I applaud the amount of research Jamie obviously conducted. This book is a primer on occult practices blended with a complexly plotted storyline. Who won? Good? Evil? I'll never tell. You have to buy the book to find out.
