The Raven and the Mermaid

Nicholas St. James, Duke of Chesterfield, Captain of the Raven stands over six feet tall, athletic grace evident in his every move. Known only as the ‘Black Raven’ he instills fear into the hearts of brave men. His chin beneath the mask was square and strong, when he smiles his sensual lips parted to show even white teeth. Sapphire eyes glint through the slits of the mask. Danielle, Nicholas’ wife is tired of waiting for his return from the Port Royal. When she overhears a conversation that Nicholas has installed his mistress in his house on Port Royal, Danielle is determined to bring him home. Taking on the guise of a lady pirate, Danielle sets hearts racing as she becomes known as the ‘Mermaid’ and sails the Caribbean in search of her husband. But captured by the Spanish ‘the Mermaid’ finds herself in the clutches of the Inquisition. The ‘Black Raven’ must rescue her before the torture begins.
