What could turn an otherwise sane, mature woman residing in a small, sleepy, rural Midwestern farming community into an avid follower of a moonwalking, crotch-grabbing, whirling dervish of a Rock ‘n Roll pop star? It would take a major, cataclysmic event. It would take a reality-tilting, orbit-shifting eight-minute-song. It would take nothing short of Michael Jackson. How can one man change the world? How can his impact be felt in the fields of music, film, dance, performance, current events, politics, social commentary and humanitarian outreach? How can one man bring all generations, creeds, nationalities, denominations, and ethnic origins together to celebrate unity, life and, at the same time, benefit the human race in so many public and private ways? Again, such an infiltration of our cultural narrative would take nothing short of Michael Jackson.
