"Swan Family Overcomes Obstacles to Get to the Safety of the Salt Marsh" Momma and Poppa Swan know the dangers of moving their five babies from the nest where the babies were hatched to the salt marsh on the other side of the busy Bundoran Road. Follow their brave efforts as they herd their babies to safety. Momma made herself into a shield against traffic as the babies rested on the warm blacktop of the road. Father thought hard about how to get the babies through a wire fence whose bottom strand was too low for the babies to crawl under and to high for them to crawl over. Finally, they get to the marsh and paddle away. Benbulben the table mountain watched over them. The salt marsh is beside Bundoran Road, outside of Mullaghmore, County Sligo, Ireland.
