To step out of stilettos and walk through "boot heel adventures" is chronicled by this delightful story of the city girl marrying the country boy! This book reveals Jane Pastore Coleman's gift of finding humor within adjustments to the unfamiliar territory of Kentucky living amidst beautiful horses and gaited mules. Through it all the range of her life expanded in the wondrous and unexpected ways found throughout her book. This quick easy read easily could be the premise for a TV mini-series or a movie. It would be great to gift to friends.

This book paints a colorful, insightful and humorous picture of what a cowgirl's life really is. Good and bad, dangerous at times, there are always lessons to be learned. Her style is easy to read and the book is easy to get through. Jane, thank you for writing this book. I feel like I have been "on the range" with you.

This book is full of adventures with happy endings. Jane, a city girl, falls in love with a cowboy and learns all about riding horses and mules, climbing fences and escaping from snakes. With several close calls, she lives to tell about them all and to write this book based on her journal entries. It is charming, scary, funny and informative.
