I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were many times that my commute was all too brief as I was completely focussed on the story; so difficult to leave Dean's story and back into my work mode. It builds at a good pace, engages the reader in the protagonist's struggle, without revealing all too soon. it highlights many current and relevant situations and dilemmas of everyday life as well, without being populist. Well written and yet without a stilted style; conversational and real. I look forward to more from this author.

Absolutely loved this book! The author has a rather intricate way with words that as a reader you rarely experience. Coupled with this, is a very deep and moving plot which lures you to start re-exploring your own past, whilst somehow managing to keep you so in the moment with the main character Dean, that you too feel like you are spiraling into insanity with him! A beautifully written book filled with madness, pain, darkness, friendship, love and hope. I would highly recommend!
